James P. McGough, 74, of Hayward, California, formerly of St. Augustine, died September 3, 2022. Born February 20, 1948 in Altoona, son of the late Paul and Evelyn (Holtz) McGough. Preceded in death by brothers, Gregory and Peter. Survived by these brothers and sisters; Donna McGough, Dennis, Gerald (Patty Bobbi), and Lynne (Rick) Thomas, sisters in law, Martina (McNulty) McGough and Patti Ann (Sills) McGough. Also survived by 2 aunts and numerous nieces and nephews. Jim was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He enjoyed working on cars and trucks, and he always had his dog by his side. He had worked as a truck mechanic for over 50 years. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 15, 2022 at St. Augustine Cemetery, Rev. Jerzy Auguscik OFM officiating.
