Jack R. Keith, 92, Irvona, died May 4, 2022 at UPMC Altoona, surrounded by his loving family. Born October 21, 1929 in Fallentimber, son of the late Elmer and Vidolia (Beers) Keith. Preceded in death by sisters; Laverne Weld, Marjorie Britton, June Lovell, Winifred “Winnie” Dick. Maxine Helsel and Ilene Bott, infant brother, Dale, brothers; Melvin, Russell and Boyd Jr. Survived by wife of 71 years, the former Madelyn Ponce, whom he married December 16, 1950 in Coalport, son Jack (Joannie) of Irvona, twin granddaughters, Nikki (Josh) Hetrick and Kristin (Rusty) Johnson, great granddaughters; Brianna and Kayla Hetrick, great grandsons; Garrett and Landon Johnson, brother, Robert of Johnstown, sister, Ann McMasters of Coalport, and numerous nieces and nephews. Jack was an Army Veteran of the Korean War Era. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, hunting and fishing. He had worked at Swanks and TYK Brick Yard, Irvona for over 50 years. Life member of the Coalport VFW. Member of the Coalport Moose and Glendale Sportsmen Association where he spent over 30 years taking care of the fish hatchery. Friends will be received from 4 until 7 PM Sunday and from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 AM Monday at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 1085 Main St., Coalport, PA 16627, Rev.
