Gloria “Irene” Lee, 88, of Coalport, died October 17, 2023, at UPMC Altoona surrounded by her family. She was born March 8, 1935, in Ashville, daughter of the late Michael Abretski and Delsie (Dixon) Jenkins. Preceded in death by husband, Robert E. Lee on November 2, 2007, brothers: Junior Jenkins, Thomas Jenkins, Theodore Jenkins, Chalmers Jenkins, and Paul Abretski, and her loving dog Babe’. Survived by daughters: Nancy Lee (Larry) Roach, Sharon A. Lee, and Deborah J. (Joe) Brown, grandchildren: Christel Lee (Jason) Wisor, Larry Roach, Robert Roach, Cammie (Patrick) Barton, Melissa (Joe) Hall, and Douglas (Katie) Brown, great grandchildren: Mackenzie, Alexis, Isabel, Olivia, Justin (Haley), Christen Lee (Jake) Pennington, and Shyla Lee, great-great grandchildren: Lawson, Kinsley, Ariah, Jaxen, Josie, Claire, Luke, and Lalee, brother, Michael G. Abretski, sister in law, Jean Abretski, and numerous nieces and nephews. Gloria enjoyed spending time with her family and special friends Elfriede, Peggi and Patti, gardening, walking, shopping, and crafts. She had worked for Sylvania in Houtzdale, she sold Avon Products in Coalport, Sue Fran Sewing Factory in Irvona, and Skills, in Clearfield. She was a Girl Scout Leader, and a member of Glendale Garden Club, Sisters of Mercy Associate, Altar Rosary Society and St. Basil Catholic Church, Coalport, where a funeral Mass will be Celebrated at 10:00 AM Saturday, Rev. Zab Amar, Celebrant. Committal, St. Basil Cemetery. Friends will be received from 4 until 8 PM Friday at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 1085 Main St., Coalport, PA 16627, where a Vigil Service will be held Friday afternoon.
