George A. Gregg, 75, Flinton, formerly of Cresson, died January 29, 2021 at home. Born June 5, 1945 in Cresson, son of the late H. LeRoy “Roy” Sr. and Bertha (McGuire) Gregg. Preceded in death by son, Jeff Eberhart, and brother, Donald Gregg Sr. Survived by wife, the former Faye Flynn whom he married June 6, 1986 in Winchester, VA, children; Paige (Patrick) McCoy of Cranberry Twp., Erin Eberhart of Cresson, Jim (Jessica Farabaugh) of Loretto and Maryann Gregg at home, 9 grandchildren and one to be born in April, brother, Howard L. Jr. (Sherry) of State College. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. George enjoyed car shows and truck pulling. He owned and operated Gregg Trucking for over 50 years and retired in 2015. Member of the Jaffa Shrine, Altoona where he belonged to the road runners and was an usher, he also belonged to the Mason’s and was a member of the Summit Lodge 312, Ebensburg, and St. Augustine Catholic Church. Friends will be received from 3 until time of funeral service at 7:00 PM Tuesday at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 1688 Liberty St., Ashville, PA 16613, Rev. John Weaver, officiating. Committal, St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Cresson. A Masonic Service will be held at 6:00 PM Tuesday.
