George Beiswenger Obituary

George P. Beiswenger, 74, of Ashville, died December 29, 2024, at home. Born August 11, 1950, in Altoona, son of the late Leo and Helen (Worzasek) Beiswenger. Preceded in death by sisters: Karen Beiswenger and Frances Granaghan, and brothers: Michael and Joseph. Survived by wife of 25 years, the former Lois Fogle, whom he married July 3, 1999 in Ashville, grandchildren: Kyle and Bryce Martellacci, sisters and brother: Patricia Vukmanovich, Leona Fowler, Roger (Linda Halerz), and Doris (Russ) Miller, sister-in-law, Margie (Lewis) Beiswenger, special niece, Gloria Fogle, numerous other nieces and nephews, and his dogs: Sully, Petey, and T.J. who he enjoyed spending time with. He also enjoyed cooking, shopping, visiting, and going to auctions. He worked at Kolaks Garage, Ashville for many years until he and his brother Joe purchased the business. He is also part owner along with his wife Lois of Fogle's Dog Training and Boarding, Ashville. Social member of Ashville VFW, and member of Newburg Fire Association. Friends will be received from 3 PM until time of funeral service at 6 PM Saturday at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 1688 Liberty St., Ashville, PA 16613, Rev. Timothy Dietrich officiating.
