Gayle S. Hertzog

Gayle S. Hertzog, 89, Dysart, passed away on June 13, 2026 at Conemaugh Nason Hospital. Born July 7, 1936 in Greenwood, PA, daughter of Franklin C. and Pearl E. (Fisher) Smith. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles “Pat” Hertzog; and son, Patrick (Fiancee Cindy Weakland) Hertzog. She is survived by son, Luke (Anita) Hertzog of Dysart; Grandchild, Brandy (Kevin) Eckenrod and her children, Joelle, Emma and Evelyn; Eileen (Carl) Dumm; Grandchildren; Patrick (Julie) Hertzog, and Jason (Nicole) Hertzog and his children, Natasha and Conner; sister, Barbara Arnold; nephew, Bill Arnold; and very good friend who was like a daughter to her, Betty Wilkinson. Gayle enjoyed horses, cats, going to watch her grandchildren play ball, birdwatching, and western shows. Per Gayle’s request all services will be private.
