Frank J. Grimes Obituary

Frank J. Grimes, 95, of Clearfield formerly of Fallentimber, died May 27, 2024, at Knickerbocker Villa Senior Living, Clearfield. He was born April 24, 1929, in Frugality, son of the late Frank E. and Blanche (Rickard) Grimes. Preceded in death by his wife, the former Jeanie Lovell, son, James, and these brothers and sisters: Cloyd, Walter, Beatrice Dotts, Imogene Zupich, Clarence, Cleo Spear, and Helen Hayman. Survived by a granddaughter, Nicole Grimes and great grandson, Camron, siblings: Mary Lou Nuti, James (Fran) Grimes, and Joyce Baker. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Frank served as a Corporal in the US. Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Friends will be received from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 AM Saturday June 8, 2024 at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 1085 Main St., Coalport, PA 16627, Rev. Zab Amar officiating. Committal Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow. Military Rites in charge of Coalport VFW. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Knickerbocker Villa Senior Living, 304 S.
