Elsie Roach, 96, formerly of Coalport, died June 20, 2021, at Knickerbocker Villa Assisted Living, Clearfield. Born October 27, 1924, in Munson, daughter of the late Robert and Lillian (Beresford) Davis. Preceded in death by husband, Patrick L. on September 13, 1991, son in law, Thomas Ingram, 2 infant sisters, and these sisters and brother; Elizabeth Lawrence, Marie Johnson, Robert Davis, Mary Berkley, and Eleanor Martino. Survived by children; Patsy Ingram of Katy, TX and Lawrence (Nancy Lee) of Woodland, grandchildren; Christel (Jason) Wisor, Timothy Ingram, Lawrence F. Roach, Kathryn (Chad) Donnelly and Robert P. Roach, great grandchildren; Justin, Christen, Lawson, Kinsley, Shyla, Samantha, Allison, James and Jeffrey, great great grandchildren; Jaxen, Joslen, and Luke, sister, June Haas of Philipsburg, and numerous nieces and nephews. Elsie enjoyed playing bingo, socializing, dancing, traveling, and shopping. She had worked as a nurses aide for Community Nursing Agency for 17 years and retired in 1988. Elsie was a member of the Coalport VFW Ladies Auxiliary, BCI, BPW, Utahville Grange, and the Coalport United Methodist Church since 1952. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, July 18, 2021 at 2:00 PM the Coalport United Methodist Church, Pastor Angel Scribe, officiating. Interment will take place at Grandview Cemetery, Morrisdale, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Coalport United Methodist Church in Elsie’s memory.
