Elaine “Tootie” Sheehan, 88, of Loretto, died July 22, 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family. Born May 8, 1936, in Loretto, daughter of the late Francis and Catherine (Doyle) Little. Preceded in death by sons-in-law, Lynn Farabaugh and Michael Eckenrode, and brothers: Robert, Patrick, James, and Fred. Survived by husband of 68 years, Ralph, whom she married October 1, 1955, in Loretto, children: Mary Elaine (Roman) Dodson, Jeanine Farabaugh, Tim (Judy), and Kevin (Michele), 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren, siblings: Bill (Susan), Ronald (Sandy), Celine (Bill) Rice, and Donald (Barb), sister-in-law, Margie Little, and numerous nieces and nephews. Tootie received many awards for her quilting, and she loved to shop, especially at Boscov’s. She served as an auditor for Allegheny Township for 20 years, and she was a devoted partner for 23 years in the dairy farm business. Tootie was a member of the Pennsylvania Farmers association and the Basilica of St. Michael, Loretto, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Thursday, Very Rev. John D. Byrnes, Celebrant. Committal, St. Michael Cemetery, Loretto.
