Donald E. Welsh Jr., 67, of Irvona, died January 10, 2024, at home. Born September 13, 1956, in Coalport, son of the late Donald Welsh Sr. and Ruth Peters. Preceded in death by infant sister, Carolann and brother, Robert Granito.  Survived by wife of 47 years, the former Christine Litzinger whom he married August 29, 1976, in Beccaria, children: Donald lll, Crystal Welsh, and Kasey (Tom) Brink all of Irvona, 3 grandchildren: Destiny (Melvin) Wisor, Ashton Brink, and Jayla Brink, 2 great-grandchildren: Melvin Wisor Jr. and Levi Wisor, brothers and sisters: Carol (James) Kuhn, Charles, Robert, Melinda Litzinger (John Gorman), and Carrie Welsh. Also survived by one aunt and numerous nieces and nephews. Don enjoyed working on Ford Trucks. He worked as a logger and a truck driver. Friends will be received from noon until time of funeral service at 2 :00 PM Monday at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 1085 Main St., Coalport, PA 16627, Rev. Scott Hartsock officiating.
