Debbie Gillette, 66, of Shelocta, died December 1, 2022 at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, Kittanning, surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 26, 1956 in Miami, Fl, daughter of the Frank and Carol (Dupas) Herron. Preceded in death by her father, and her husband, Robert C. “Bob” Gillette Jr. on April 25, 2022. Survived by her mother and step father, Carol (Wayne) Black of St. Louis, Missouri, children; Shaun (Angel) Chigas, Terry Chigas, Brenda Gillette (Mike Wojno) and Robert lll “Rob” (Amy) Gillette, grandchildren; Richie (Alyssa), Daniel (Tiffanie), Brandon, Kylie, Rylie, Breanna, Kyle, Arlo, and Drake, great grandchildren; Chloe, Braden, Hunter, Madeline, Jo-Linn, Kamryn, Conner, and Ashton, brother, Frank Herron and sister, Cindy Fogle. Also survived by several aunts and uncles and numerous nieces and nephews. Debbie enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, bird watching, her pets and she supported her husband’s military career. She had worked for many years as a medical device sales supervisor. At Debbie’s request there will be no viewing. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
