David R. Shumac Sr., 60, Altoona, died December 25, 2020 at home. Born June 4, 1960 in Altoona, son of the late Elmer R. and Jane (Yon) Shumac. Preceded in death by son, David Jr., and brothers; Robert, Michael, and Timothy. Survived by daughter, Danielle (Thomas) Frye, 4 grandchildren, sisters; Deborah (Albert) Davinsizer, Doris (Raymond) Root, Mary (David) Crownover, Janie (Ron) Brunner, and Susan Knisley, brother, Thomas, and numerous nieces and nephews. David worked in construction for many years. At the request of the deceased there will be no viewing or service.
