David M. Jenkins Sr., 65, of Loretto, died December 12, 2024, at his camp in Galeton, Potter County. He was born, December 10, 1959, in Johnstown, son of the late Harold and Nila (Lloyd) Jenkins. Preceded in death by a brother, Alan R. Jenkins. Survived by his wife, the former Denise Weiland, whom he married June 25, 2016, in Patton, children: Nadine (Donald) Hardison, David Jr. (Jessica) Jenkins, Kristie Jenkins, Miranda (John) Meyer, Leighton Holland, and Nigel Holland, 7 grandchildren: Donald Jr., Daizon, Kaelyn, Ryder, Chace, Abigail, and Skylar. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Dave enjoyed golfing, hockey, riding his Harley, playing solitaire, pitching horseshoes, playing pool, and going to camp and drinking beer and Jack Daniels. Member of St.Clair Treemont Trap and Field Club, Brownstown Fireman’s Club, Sons of the American Legion, Loretto, Post 748, and the Galeton VFW. Friends will be received from 3 until 6 PM Monday at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 1688 Liberty St., Ashville, PA 16613.
