Dane Williams Obituary

Dane A. Williams, 40, of Fallentimber, died March 27, 2024. He was born August 13, 1983, in Altoona, son of Britt Sr. and Theresa (Passanita) Williams. Preceded in death by his loving mother Theresa, maternal grandparents, Ron and Peg Passanita, paternal grandmother, Mildred “Millie” Williams, uncle, Mike Passanita, and his beloved dog, Maggie. Survived by his loving father, Britt Sr. (Susan ) Williams of Johnstown, brother Britt Jr. (Samantha) Williams, step-sister, Sara Warynovich, (Graema Summerville-Ryan), and step-brother, Luke (Summer) Warynovich, nieces and nephews: Owen Williams (Dane’s favorite little buddy), Makayla Rorabaugh and her son Frankie, Nick Rorabaugh, and Eleanor and Imogen Sommerville-Ryan, aunts and uncles; Ron (Brenda) Passanita, Shelly (Kevin) Laffey, Nina (Stan) Kimberly, Martina (Mark) Zeanchock, Dan Moyer, Kirk Williams, Norm (Sue) Roles, and Jeanne Morris. Also survived by numerous loving cousins and close friends; Chelsea, Olivia, Matt "Zimmy" and Greg. Dane enjoyed weekends with his family and friends on the pontoon boat, cooking, going to concerts with friends, and he was an avid skier. He was currently employed by the city of Altoona as a surveyor and engineer. There will be no viewing. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
