Cody A. Bush, 27, of Carrolltown, formerly of Lilly, passed away suddenly June 27, 2021 at home. Born June 3, 1994 in Altoona, son of John C. Bush and Michelle (Stauski) Harvey. Preceded in death by mother on March 26, 2019, and paternal grandfather, Harold T. Bush. Survived by father, John and stepmother, Dale (Litzinger) Bush of Nanty Glo, stepfather, Dave Harvey of Starford, stepdaughter, Araina Miller of Portage, sister, Kristina Bush (John Ledger) of Nanty Glo, and children, Aliya, Kaden, and Haylee, paternal grandparents, Ella Jean (Robert) McMillen of Dysart, maternal grandparents, Joseph and Connie (Moses) Stauski of Lilly, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Cody was an Army Veteran and served during the War on Terror. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and other outdoor activities. Member of the Carrolltown Fire Company, and former active member of the Portage Fire Company. Friends will be received from 4 until time of funeral service at 7:00 PM Tuesday at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 1688 Liberty St., Ashville, PA 16613, Rev. Carl Wolfe, officiating. Interment will take place at Richland Cemetery, Dysart. Military Rites in charge of Ashville VFW and other Local Military Organization.
