Clement “Bud” Stich, 79, of Loretto, passed away May 21, 2024. He was born November 26, 1944, in Loretto, son of the late Adolf “Doss” and Anna “Marge” (Mulvehill) Stich. Preceded in death by sister, Mary “Kay” Plazek. Survived by wife of 58 years, the former Mary Ann Wineland whom he married June 4, 1966, in Altoona, children: Mary (Eric) Storm, Catherine (Andrew) Wills, Jane (Steven) Grove, Debbie (Jon) St. Pierre, and Carol (William) Stoltz Jr., 12 grandchildren, sisters: Beverly Bertison, Bertha Stich, and Theresa (Ted) Plazek and brother, John (Gaillee) Stich. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Bud was a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam Era War. He was an avid sports fan, especially the Pirates, and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, and he was an accomplished bowler, (having achieved a 300 game). Bud worked as a welder for Calandra Steel, Cresson for over 30 years and retired in 2007. Lifetime member of the Cresson Sportsmen, and a member of the Loretto American Legion, and former member of the Basilica of St. Michael, Loretto, where friends will be received from 9:00 AM until time of funeral Mass that will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Wednesday, May 29, 2024, Very Rev.
