Carol J. Machiarola

Carol J. Machiarola, 83, of Hollidaysburg, passed away on July 28, 2026 at UPMC Altoona. Born July 27, 1943 in Coupon, PA, daughter of Eugene and Alma (Booterbaugh) Seymore. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tony “Oscar” Machiarola; son, Shawn Machiarola; siblings, Lorraine Marasco, Ronald Seymore, John Seymore, and Marilyn Seymore; and son-in-law, Gary Moschgat. She is survived by her daughters, Lori Moschgat and Kim (Joe) Mercer; and grandsons, Justin and Christopher Moschgat. Carol enjoyed painting ceramics, coloring, reading, and spending time with family. Family and friends will be received on Friday, July 31, 2026 from 5 to 7 pm at Gibbons-Penksa Funeral Home, 1688 Liberty St. Ashville, PA 16613. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at 10 am at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 159 Hickory St. Ashville, PA 16613. Interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Coupon, PA.
