Bonnie Wolfe, 76, a resident of Haida Manor Hastings, formerly of Ashville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 12, 2024, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She was born August 1, 1947, in Portage, daughter of the late Harry and Virginia (Helsel) Diehl. Preceded in death by brothers; Charles and Donald and a sister Judy Gorba. Survived by her husband, Rev. Carl Wolfe whom she married February 22, 1969, in Winchester VA. Children; Matthew (Angelique) Wolfe, and Virginia (Christopher) Wright. 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, sister Barbara (Dennis) Peters, and several nieces and nephews. Bonnie was active in AWANA, scouting, puppet ministry and she enjoyed camping, fishing, genealogy, and various crafts. She was a member of the Buckhorn Bible Church. At the request of the deceased there will be no viewing. A memorial service will be held Thursday April 25, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Buckhorn Bible Church. The family requests donations be made to Precious Life crisis pregnancy ministry, Altoona, PA, where she served as a volunteer and as house parent for 11 years at the maternity home.
