B. Thomas Motchenbaugh

B.Thomas Motchenbaugh, 74, of Duncansville, formerly of Brick Road, Loretto, died December 24, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. Born August 3, 1947 in Johnstown, son of the late Hilary and Anna Jean (Bimle) Motchenbaugh. Preceded in death by wife, the former Mary Lee on March 26, 2009, and brother, Wayne. Survived by children; Christina (Jay) Starliper, Kenneth, Kevin (Twila Caccia), Stacie (Brian) Adelsberg, and Amy (Kirk) Kelley, 11 grandchildren, sister, Twila (Paul) Flynn, and brother, Barry. Tom was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, and setting up his Christmas Village. He had worked at Mine 33 and the Long Barn both in Ebensburg. Member of the UMWA, and former member of the Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel, Loretto, where funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 PM Wednesday, Very Rev. John D. Byrnes, Celebrant. Committal, St. Michael Cemetery, Loretto. Friends will be received from 4 until 8 PM Tuesday at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 1688 Liberty St., Ashville, PA 16613 where a Vigil Service will be held Tuesday.
