Ardell “Pete” Swope, 81, of Glasgow, died May 4, 2024, at the James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center, Altoona. He was born April 6, 1943, in Flinton, son of the late Neldon and Sylvia (Kava) Swope. Survived by son, Peter, sister Sylvia Toner and several nieces and nephews. Pete was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era War. At the request of the deceased there will be no viewing. A celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday May 15, 2024, at the Roseland Church, Coalport, PA, Rev. Rich Behrens officiating, with Military Rites  in charge of Coalport VFW to follow.
