Anthony Martin "Tony" Funicelli

Anthony M. “Tony” Funicelli, 57, of Accokeek, Maryland, passed away September 20, 2022 at Washington Hospital Center. Born on November 18, 1964 in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Arnold M. and Mary Alice (Kelly) Funicelli. Tony is a 1982 graduate of Gwynn Park High School and a 1985 graduate of DeVry Institute of Technology. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Tony loved gardening, crabbing, and an iced cold beer. Tony is survived by his daughter, Lauren Funicelli of Elizabeth City, NC; sisters Lisa Jordan of North Beach, MD, Marcie Cox and her husband Jeffrey of Jonesborough, TN; nieces Abigail, Ashley, Rachel, and nephew Dylan. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 from 11AM until time of funeral service at 1PM at the Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., 5635 Washington Ave., La Plata, Maryland 20646. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at St. Joseph Cemetery in Coupon, PA at 1PM. Arrangements by Gibbons Funeral Home, 1688 Liberty St., Ashville, PA 16613.
