Alice Mae Gabrielson, 84, R.D. Irvona, went to her heavenly home, October 11, 2022. She was born October 8, 1938 in Philipsburg, daughter of the late James Matthew and Nora F. (Diehl) Snedden. Preceded in death by husband, Robert C. Gabrielson on December 12, 2017, son, Robert D. “Dinger”, and great grandson, Squeak Cahill, infant brother, Jimmy and sister and brother in law, Dorothy (Ben) Willey.  Survived by daughters; Nina Fleming of Indiana, PA, Jill (Ed Jr.) Potutschnig of Berwinsdale, and Sheila (Deak) Irvine of R.D. Irvona, 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson. Alice Mae was the last member of her immediate family. She is also survived by several cousins, and numerous nieces and nephews, her brothers and sisters in law; Don (Sandy) Gabrielson, Charlene (Marty) Watkins, Tamie (Steve) Frederick. Dale (Geri) Gabrielson, Dean (Joyce) Gabrielson, and Judith (Dave) Simpson. Alice Mae was an active member in numerous local churches where she played the piano and organ since she was 11 years old. She is a current member of 5 Points Church. She started the family singing group, “Gospel Echos”, and was a school bus driver for Glendale School District for many years. Friends will be received from 2:00 PM until time of funeral service at 4:00 PM Saturday at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 1085 Main St., Coalport, PA 16627, Rev. Deak Irvine, son in law of the deceased, officiating. Interment will take place at Fairview Cemetery, R.D. La Jose.
