Alan Lee Ganey, 94, Loretto, died March 17, 2021 at Just Like Home Personal Care, Cresson. Born February 25, 1927 in Washington, DC, son of the late Lee and Inez (Banta) Ganey. Preceded in death by wife, the former Edith Daddysman on November 17, 2011, son in law, Dan Biter, grandson, James “Tut” Biter, brothers; Billy, Robert and Lee, and sisters; Marian Keith, Frances Farren and Inez Ganey. Survived by daughter, Genny Biter of Loretto, grandchildren; Tony, Frank, Tim, Dawn, Shawn, and Eric, 12 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren and sister, Bonnie Kessler. Alan was an Army Veteran of WWll. He loved NASCAR, drinking Yuengling beer, and sitting on the porch. Friends will be received from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 12:30 PM Saturday at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 1688 Liberty St., Ashville, PA 16613, Rev. Stephen Moore, officiating.
