Agnes Turchick, 88, formerly of Coalport, died November 25, 2022. Born April 23, 1934 in Hastings, daughter of the late George and Marie (Anna) Stitts. Preceded in death by husband, Dr. Edward Turchick on March 13, 2020, daughter in law Susan (Neely) Turchick on December 7, 2018, brothers; John and Jim, and sister, Mae Long. Loving Mother to: Edward, Stephen (Sharon), Patrick (Laura), Susan (Ron), and Sandra (Todd), and proud grandmother of 13 grandchildren. Also survived by a sister, Joan (Mike) and numerous nieces and nephews. Agnes enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren, she also enjoyed cooking. She worked at and was a board member of the Coalport Nursery School, and helped with the meals on wheels in the Coalport Area. Agnes was a member of St. Basil Catholic Church, Coalport where she taught CCD, belonged to the choir, and was a member of the Altar Rosary Society. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 PM Tuesday at St. Basil Catholic Church, Rev. Zab Amar, Celebrant. Committal, St Basil Cemetery, Coalport.
