Barbara Ann Earhart 74, Sankertown, passed away peacefully March 9, 2019 with all her family at her side. Born March 6, 1945 in Sankertown, daughter of the late Norman N. and Quenita (Reed) Schenk Klayko. Preceded in death by former husband, David Earhart, brother, Norman “Larry” Schenk, niece and God Daughter, Tina Marie Helsel, and special friend, Robert Campbell. survived by sons, Brian (Jennifer Edwards) of Cresson and Mark (Nicole Riley) of Hollidaysburg, 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and one to be born soon. Sister of, Mary K (Steve) Helsel of Roaring Spring, Christine (Edward) McMullen of Gallitzin, JoAnn (Albie) Colian of Sankertown, Kenny (Beth Nihart) Klayko of Cresson, and Renee Pupo of Munster, sister in law, Paulette (Waskovich) Schenk of Ashville and numerous nieces and nephews. Barb spent years taking care of her many friends in the Cresson area. One of her greatest pleasures was attending and helping with events sponsored by the Jaffa Shrine. She gave everyone all her love and will be truly missed by all. Member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Cresson, where funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 11:00 AM, Rev. Leo Arnone, Celebrant. Committal, St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Cresson. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Monday at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 1688 Liberty St., Ashville, PA 16613. www.gibbonsfhashvillecoalport.com
