Kathryn L. “Kathy” Oshall, 66, Coalport, died September 19, 2018 at home. Born June 20, 1952 in Philipsburg, daughter of the late Rembrandt “Bud” and Patricia (Pearson) Eckberg. Preceded in death by sister, Patricia Barto and brother, Dennis. Survived by husband of 47 years, Floyd Oshall Jr. whom she married May 12, 1971 in Houtzdale, children, Bart (Kristin Kephart), Regina Oshall, and Lisa Oshall (George Fletcher Jr). all of Coalport and Charles (Nicole Mash) of Windber, grandchildren, Megan, Connor, Jadyn, Damion and Elijah, brother, Jimmy of Houtzdale and several nieces and nephews. Kathy adored her grandchildren. She was a member of Coalport Boro Council for many years and served on the Street Scape Boro Light Committee and the Street Fair Committee. She also was a member of the Coalport VFW Ladies Auxiliary and St. Basil Catholic Church, Coalport and the church choir, and where a funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Monday, Rev. Zab Amar, Celebrant. Committal, Beaver Valley Cemetery. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Sunday at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 1085 Main St., Coalport, PA 16627, where a Vigil Service will be held Sunday. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Street Scape Light Committee or the Street Fair Committee in Kathy’s memory. www.gibbonsfhashvillecoalport.com
