Irvin C. Gallaher Sr. 77, Berwinsdale, died November 22, 2017 at UPMC Altoona. Born September 21, 1940 in R.D. LaJose, son of the late Clair and Fairy (Blake) Gallaher. Preceded in death by grandsons, Joshua Stiver and Jeff Gallaher, brother, Jim and sister, Caroline Fulton. Survived by wife of 58 years, the former Ginger Fulton whom he married November 21, 1959 in R.D. LaJose. Children: Dessie Ninosky (Nick) of R.D. LaJose, Irvin Jr. (Tina Baker) of Berwinsdale, Ted (fiancé, Shirley Dick) of Berwinsdale, Hugh (Jackie Dunlap) of Coalport and Tamra Beck (Rick) of Coalport. 19 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Brother in law, Jesse Fulton of Patton, 2 sisters in law, Clella Reitmyer (Bill) of Coalport and Carol Gallaher (Bob) of Westover and step brother, John T. Gallaher (Brenda Caldwell) of Ramey, and several nieces and nephews. Irvin attended BCI High School, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren and his loving dog, Pixie. He worked for E.P. Bender Coal Company for 40 years and retired in 2006 and owned and operated the I.C. Gallaher Trucking Company, R.D. Irvona for 33 years. Member of the Coalport Moose and VFW. He attended the Glendale Valley Spirit and Truth Church, Irvona. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Saturday and from 1:00 PM until time of funeral service at 2:00 PM Sunday at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 1085 Main St., Coalport, PA 16627. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions be made to The Glendale Valley Spirit and Truth Church in Irvin’s memory. www.gibbonsfhashvillecoalport.com

Our sympathy and prayers to Ginger and all of Irvin's Family.
Irvin & Ginger were long time clients of my business we thank you ever so much. We miss you both,and now so sad learning of Irvin's death.
