Jean L. Adams 84, Chest Springs, died August 14, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born July 8, 1932 in R.D. Loretto, daughter of the late Fred and Pearl (Stephens) Krug. Preceded in death by husband, Robert E. “Bob” Adams on February 9, 2016, infant twin brothers: William and Wilbert, brothers: Paul, John, Dale, Amandus, and Fred, sisters, Catherine Carter and Olive Flick. Survived by daughters: Brenda Kalwanaski (George) of Ashville, Cindy Harvey (Bob) of Ebensburg, and Karen Hite (Fred) of R.D. Patton. Grandchildren: Dane Robert (Kate ) Kalwanaski and Coryn Kalwanaski. Sister of: Geraldine Gauntner of Ashville, Isabelle Kirkpatrick (Bob) of Hastings and Patrick (Jean Ann Adams) of R.D. Loretto. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Graduate of Ebensburg Cambria High School class of 1951. Owned and operated Adams Tavern along with her husband Bob for 25 years .  Jean enjoyed spending time with her family. Member of Chest Springs Senior Citizens,  and St. Monica Catholic Church, Chest Springs, where funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Wednesday, Rev. Christopher Lemme TOR, and Rev. Donald Boslett Concelebrants. Committal, St. Monica Cemetery. Friends will be received from 3 to 8 PM Tuesday at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 1688 Liberty St., Ashville, PA 16613. Where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to, Home Nursing Hospice, 118 Ebony Rd. Suite 200, Ebensburg, PA 15931 or Carmelite Nuns, P.O. So sorry about the passing of your mother. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family at this sad time. We know that Bob and Jean are now together in Heaven.

Jean will be truly missed by us & our children. She was always so kind and caring. At the church picnic this year she gave money to the kids and insisted they play some more games. I apologize we were out of town and unable to attend any of the services. May you find comfort through God's love.
