 Annie M. Johnston 96, Altoona, formerly of Dean, died December 1, 2015 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born March 5, 1919 in St. Augustine, daughter of the late Louis and Bessie (Cupples) Adams. Preceded in death by husband, Joseph on November 7, 2010, son in law, Dave Storm, sisters, Helen Davis, and  Louise Shettig  and brothers, Homer and Walter.

Annie enjoyed quilting, sewing, cooking, baking and cross word puzzles.

She worked at Sylvania for a number of years and did housekeeping work. Former member of the Altar Society of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Frugality. Member of St. John Evangelist Catholic Church, Lakemont, where funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Saturday. Committal, St. Monica Cemetery, Chest Springs. Friends will be received from 2 to 7 PM Friday at Stevens Mortuary Inc. 1420 8th Ave., Altoona, PA 16602, where a Vigil Service will be held Friday. www.gibbonsfhashvillecoalport.com
