Patrick C. Andrews 88, Coalport, died July 20, 2014. Born May 10, 1926 in Coalport, son of the late Fermin C. and Mary C. (Reilly) Andrews. Preceded in death by first wife, the former Jean Callahan on October 2, 1998, sisters: Eileen and Betty Long, brothers, James and Larry. Survived by second wife, the former Mary Jane Umbaugh Vesnesky whom he married October 23, 2001 in Coalport. Children:

Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

1944 graduate of Coalport Irvona High School. Served in the U. S. Air Force during WWll from 1944 until 1946, spending part of that time in Naples, Italy. Pat was employed as a lineman for Clearfield and Cambria Telephone Company from 1956 until the mid 1970’s and served on their Board of Directors.   The company merged with Alltel Corporation. He was instrumental in bringing dial telephone service to the Coalport Glasgow area and retired in 1986. Pat enjoyed hunting, fishing, archery, and internet card games.  Member of Coalport VFW Post 7043, K of C, Frugality and St. Basil Catholic Church, Coalport. Pat was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather and was good to everyone. At the request of the deceased there will be no viewing or visitation. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Saturday at St. Basil Catholic Church, Coalport, Rev. Zab Amar, celebrant.
