I was shocked and saddened to hear of your loss. Drew was a smart, talented young man and a good student. He often contributed to class discussions and life here at the high school. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers as you grieve.

I can only imagine how you, Drew’s family and friends, feel. I am saddened as I read of Drew’s age and that he was just married last year. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy. Be assured that God, the Creator of life, is sorry and saddened too. He, as our loving Heavenly Father, will soon eliminate death and bring back to life billions who have been victimized by death. “He will swallow up death forever.”(Isaiah 25:8) “All those in the Memorial Tombs will hear his voice and come out...to a resurrection of life.” (John 5:28,29). May these promises from God sustain you during this difficult time as you mourn Drew’s death.

I had the honor and privilege to serve with Brown in New Mexico for my final few months before I was honorably discharged in Dec 2015. He was an amazing person who lit up the room when he walked in. I was in complete shock when I heard the news. He will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and the Air Force family as well.
