Alea D. Yingling, 89, formerly of Ashville, died January 18, 2018 at Maple Winds Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, Portage. Born September 4, 1928 in Illinois, daughter of the late George W. and Annabelle L. (Spade) Billand. Preceded in death by husband, Byron “Bill” Yingling on January 18, 1997, daughter, Cathy Stehley on November 8, 1974 and infant brother, Richard. Survived by daughter, Karen (Pat) Itle of Loretto, 2 granddaughters: Jennifer Itle-Szpala (Adam) of Loretto and Carolyn Itle-Sherry (Scott) of Ashville, 2 great grandchildren: Ethan Itle-Szpala and Lauren Itle-Szpala. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Alea enjoyed her flowers and fish pond. Former member of Ashville VFW Ladies Auxiliary, St. Joseph Catholic Church, Coupon and St. Thomas Catholic Church, Ashville, where funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Monday, Rev. Robert Reese, Celebrant. Committal, St. Joseph Cemetery, Coupon. Friends will be received from 5 to 8 PM Sunday at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 1688 Liberty St., Ashville, PA 16613, where a Vigil Service will be held Sunday. www.gibbonsfhashvillecoalport.com

Please do not post this to the family. I was just curious as to whether Alea also had a brother George. He would be younger than her. Thanks for any info you have on this.
