Barb Yeager 81, McMullen Rd., Ashville, died May 2, 2015 at Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born January  2, 1934 in R.D. Ashville, daughter of the late Earl C. Sr. and Marie (Storm) Smithmyer. Preceded in death by children: Marie, John and Mary, granddaughter, Marie, sisters: Alice and Mary and brother, Edward. Survived by husband of 62 years, Al  Sr. whom she married August 2, 1952 at St. Monica Catholic Church, Chest Springs. Children:

Barb enjoyed her family and her faith.

Member of the Altar Rosary Society and St. Monica Catholic Church, Chest Springs where Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Wednesday, Rev. Donald Boslett, Celebrant. Committal, Church Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 PM Tuesday at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 1688 Liberty St., Ashville, PA 16613, where a Vigil Service will be held. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to St. Monica Catholic Church in Barb’s memory. www.gibbonsfhashvillecoalport.com

Uncle Al & Family,

Al and Family, Earl, Tom, Dave and Jack, I am saddened by the passing of your beloved wife and sister. Your family played a special role in my life with many positive memories.
